Community Outreach

Of course we provide Fire and Life Safety classes in all our schools. We also do a special open house for Autistic children. This is done in our firehouse to be able to provide the one-on-one attention deserved. We do the “Blue Ribbon Campaign” that visits every single resident in Georgetown to replace, or repair smoke detectors in the dwelling. When we leave the smoke detectors are in working order. We accomplish this using the help of Law Enforcement, Coast Guard, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and volunteers going door to door.

Top Two Concerns in Your Community

The Transporting of many chemicals and several hundred log trucks per day running through town on one of three major roads, Hwy 17,701, and 521.
