Announcing the 2nd Annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in October

The Charlotte Firefighters Association will be hosting the 2nd annual 9-11 Memorial Stair Climb on October 13, 2012 to honor the 343 fallen firefighters, 23 NYPD, 37 PAPD and 15 medics lost on September 11, 2001. Hundreds of firefighters, police officers, medics and people in our community will climb 110 flights of stairs in the Duke Energy building to remember those that made this climb and lost their lives in the World Trade Center.

The day will be filled with family activities while the climb is taking place with thousands in attendance in addition to the climbers.

There will be local celebrities in attendance, political representatives along with media coverage, constant exposure on the event Facebook page that currently has over 550 followers, and the CFFA Facebook page and Twitter feed which currently have over 5500 followers.
